Mission

We are all in this together.

Since 2013 I have been sharing the belief many have- that life should be lived with joy, gratitude and a dedication to the present moment. These feelings inform and guide my teachings which are rooted in helping regular people live life by intention; imparting transformation within themselves, their families, workplaces and communities.

About Me

After years doing non-profit work that I loved, I did what so many of us have: left to follow a career path that would yield financial stability. I began a career in marketing that quickly gained momentum. I became the Director of Marketing and New Business Development and loved my team but I was out of sync. At the end of 2020 I left my position and committed to finding balance for myself and my family. Teaching yoga is how I continue to stay true to what brings me alive- helping people live better and find ease. A favorite motto of mine is "a thought in motion stays in motion," and I wholeheartedly believe we can develop habits that will shift the trajectory of our mood. This past year I relaunched my jewelry shop, Wandering Sparks, and have been teaching myself watercolors. I bring my minimalist style into the designs and art I make.

With an interdepartmental degree in Anthropology & History from Union College, people are my passion. I specialize in all styles of creative vinyasa, restorative, yin, prenatal, trauma sensitive, breathwork, guided meditation and stand up paddle board yoga. In my most recent workshops, I have bridged my two professional worlds by bringing mindfulness to the workplace and facilitating workshops to managers and executives seeking to boost morale and multiply productivity within their teams. Employers are waking up to the mindfulness factor. What a world we live in right now.

My teaching journey started in 2013 when I spontaneously enrolled in my first 200 hour training with Jennilee Toner. I now hold an advanced 500 hour certification from Jo Kirsch, Bob Speck and Laurae Baker through Heart of the Village Yoga Studio in Manchester, VT. I have trained with many wonderful teachers through the years including Elena Brower, Biff Mithoeffer, Sean Johnson & The Wild Lotus, Minoj Chalam… and learned from so many others along the way.

Since becoming a mother in 2014, yoga has taken on new meaning while I navigate the rocky terrain of motherhood. My spirited kids, Maisey and Ollie, have been my greatest teachers in grace.

When not on my mat or designing, I live for spending time with my ultra marathon running husband, Ken, our kiddos, and our fur kids. You can often find us on the trails of the Green Mountains, drinking slow coffee and fixing up our home in Manchester, VT.
